How do students get involved?

So, you’ve followed the instructions in this post, or you’ve taken an Act 48 workshop, and you’re ready to get students involved in your blog. Take the following steps:

1. Download this Excel Spreadsheet.

2. Navigate to your classes in Pentamation, and click “List” next to a class.

3. Notice that Pentamation makes it really difficult to highlight only the students’ names in your class. Let’s fix that.

4. Click Show Options at the top of the page.

5. Click Alias Name under Additional Columns. It should be the only item highlighted.

6. Click the Report button.

7. Highlight your students’ names and copy them (Ctrl+C or Edit>Copy in your browser).

8. Open the spreadsheet you downloaded (WordPress_Login_Computer.xls) and paste the students’ names into column A.

9. You’ll need to repeat the process for all classes that you want to participate in your blog.

10. Save your Excel Spreadsheet and email it to jmummert. Be sure to include the blog’s name.
